The Opera House in Wroclaw has a tradition dating back to the first half of 17th century.
Each season is crowned by the super production in the Centenary Hall (Hala Ludowa) with the audience of 4000 people. These are the largest operatic performances in Poland, among gigantic decorations, with the participation of great European stars, hundreds of performers, supernumeraries and animals on stage.
There are "Ballet Mornings" organized for the youngest audience on holidays and for school children there is a special educational program called "A Little Academy of Opera and Ballet". During the summer time the Wrocław Opera House arranges the Summer Operatic Festival and the shows take place in many charming, old parts of a historic Wroclaw.
The Company of the Wroclaw Opera House is a regular guest on many stages in Germany, Holland, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Cyprus.
