Unique in the world, the pantomime theater by Henryk Tomaszewski was built in 1956. It presented its theater productions around the world, from Spain to Japan, the Scandinavian countries to Australia, Mexico and Venezuela.
Unique in the world, the pantomime theatre by Henryk Tomaszewski was founded in 1956 as the National Pantomime Studio at Dramatic Theatres in Wroclaw. In 1959 on the resolution of the Presidium of the National Council of Wroclaw the theater was nationalized under the name of Wroclaw Mime Theatre.
There is a "mime trade" studio for new members of the theatre team where they are trained to become mimes. The Theatre trained many great artists who run their own theatres now, carry out pedagogical work in the country and abroad.
Theatre has presented its performances around the world, from Spain to Japan, the Scandinavian countries to Australia, Mexico and Venezuela.
The team also participated in performances of other theatres (such as La Scala in Milan, the Leipzig Opera, theatres in Poland, Germany, Scandinavia).
