Jagiellonian University is the oldest university in Poland and moreover, one of the oldest in the world.
Jagiellonian University - the oldest Polish university founded in 1364. Among others, Copernicus and Pope John Paul II studied here. The most famous university buildings: the Gothic Collegium Maius and Neogothic Collegium Novum. The Collegium Maius is established Jagiellonian University Museum. The most valuable exhibit is the Jagiellonian Globe from 1508. There was indicated for the first time America.
