Hiking the backstreets of the Toruń Old Town, it is warth to stop by Esken's House,  which contains the real rarities in its vast interiors, and make a trip to the past  visiting there presented exhibitions.

Exhibition "Discover the past" is dedicated to the archaeologic subjects and portraies the culture of different peoples settling the surroundings of Torun.
"Torun 1793-1920. City of bordeland" is the exhibition discussing the history of Torun in the period of the Partitions of Poland. We can see there several maps, photographs of inexisting already places, eminent inhabitant's portraits, documents, seals and many other things bringing us closer to the history of this period.
The third exhibition is "Military items-from Middle Ages to the XXth century", presenting the most interesting exhibit items of Torun museum.
