It is the northern part of the Białowieża National Park; moving around is facilitated by three walking tourist trails.
Hwoźna Protected Area (HPA) is located in the northern part of BPN. Its area is accessible to hikers and bikers. Over 20 km of pedestrian paths and 14 km of bicycle paths facilitate the visit in the most interesting fragments of this unique part of BPN. On the way numerous shelters, bridges, and observation towers are at tourist's disposal. Entrance to the area is permitted without a guide. There are three entrance routes leading to HPA: from the villages of Narewka, Zamosze, and Masiewo I.
