For more than one hundred years it has been the favourite place for walks for the inhabitants of Szczecin. The attractions of the park are numerious exitic trees and bushes, and beautifully situated Rusałka Lake.
The park was established in 1900, in the beautiful valley of Osówka. It was founded by the Quistorp family. Park has 4200 hectares. In the inner part of the park an amphitheatre, where concerts and performance be hold with summer. Coming in to park from side Jasne Błonia, we will see The Monument of the Polish Great Deeds. The monument was unveiled on 3 September 1979 to commemorate the anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War. Bronze eagles symbolise three generations of Poles. Each of them weighs around 15 tonnes.
