The tower is located in the Wigry National Park by the black tourist route at the edge of the Maniówka River valley and provides an outstanding view of the forests of the northern part of the park. Once there, one should take notice of the remains of a sculpture installation constructed in 1997 during the Ring of Art Open Air. The church tower in Kaletnik is also visible and, if weather conditions allow, one can see the buildings of the village of Krasnopol. The Maniówka River, which flows beneath, is a right-hand tributary of the Wiatrołuża River. The banks of both rivers provide excellent conditions for beavers. The tower gives the opportunity to watch hunting falconiformes , such as the common buzzard, and numerous birds of open country. Those who want to see the Wiatrołuża River valley are welcome to head for the lookout tower near Lipniak.
