"Szklarnia" Reserve was created on less than three hundred hectares to preserve fir forests of natural origin.
It is a forest and floristic reserve with pine and fir forests with addition of spruce, beech, oak and alder. The largest areas in the reserve are occupied by moist mixed Querco-Piceetum forest with great share of fir in the tree stand. A remarkable peculiarity of the reserve are the fragments of upland mixed fir forest Abietetum polonicum - communities of a mountain nature, and small patches of alder and oak and hornbeam. Forest swamps are common here.
