The goal is to preserve the diverse forest stands, located on the Bug River bank.
The Reserve was founded in 1995, on 24 ha around the Neple Village and the mouth of the Krzna RIver into the Bug River.
The Reserve was meant to preserve the landscape assets and to protect the forest communities of both water and waterside areas that are characterised by rare plant species and complete purity.
The willow and poplar marshy meadows have the greatest natural value, they grow along the Bug River and in big old river beds.
