The Jesionowe Góry reserve (area - 376,55 h) is distinguished by a large variety of flora and the presence of rare forest communities. Ash and oak reach monumental trees’ size here. One of the most exceptional plants in the reserve is leatherleaf (Chamedaphne calyculata) being a post-glacial relic. The reserve is one of 9 positions in Poland where this plant is noted.
