The Landscape Park of Pasmo Brzanki was set up in 1995. It is situated on eastern part of the Małopolska province and on western part of the Podkarpackie province. It covers the area of 18 867 ha.
The Park is situated on the external Carpathian Flysch area. Sculpture of the surface was dominated by diversify forms like Brzanka-Liwocz flexure. Mainly the Carpathian beech forest developed in the reserve. Standing timbers of the Park consist on beechmast, fir tree, birch tree, hornbeam, durmast and pine tree. Flora of the Park estimates to about 61 vascular plants spieces: Carex pendula, Polystichum aculeatum, Dryopteris expansa, Galanthus nivalis and xerothermic spieces like Gentiana cruciata. There are many preserved plants spieces between them Staphylea pinnata, orchids: Dactylorhiza maculata, Dactylorhiza majalis and Huperzia selago, Daphne mezereum. There also preserved mushrooms spieces: Hericium ramosum, Sparassis crispa, Strobilomyces floccopus can be found. Among animals roe-deer, fox, wild boar and protected spieces hedgehog, ermine, weasel, otter live on the Park. At the Park area also birds live: black stork, sparrow hawk, goshawk, buzzard and amphibian: salamander, grey toad, green toad and newts also reptiles: grass-snake, zigzag viper, blind-worm, sand lizard.
