"Wadernik" is a forest and plant reserve with the area of 11 hectares situated near the village of Mszana (Dukla commune). It includes over 200 yew trees and other unique plants.
"Wadernik" is a forest and plant reserve with the area of 11 hectares situated near the village of Mszana (Dukla commune). It includes over 200 yew trees and other unique plants. The reserve was set up to protect the natural stand of yew trees in the Low Beskid. The reserve area contains valley of stream aa well as the Western and Southern slopes over the stream. The main habitats in the Wadernik reserve: the Carpathian beechwood and a type of meadow habitat called Molinietalia. Forest stand contains fir, beech, sycamore maple, spruce, aspen and other.
