波兰体育和旅游部从位于布达佩斯的中国-中东欧国家旅游协调中心获悉，经国际评审团决定，马可波罗比赛的获胜者之一是来自华沙的波兰中国旅游有限公司（CT Poland）。
2018年马可波罗旅游奖颁发给了代表当地历史、传统和文化的三个最佳旅游产品，在这些产品中中国游客在至少三个中东欧国家停留。
波兰中国旅游公司向大赛提交的旅游产品名为“东欧协奏曲之旅”。 波兰中国旅游公司副总裁Tomasz Jeleń说:
“我们每年为几十个中国旅游团服务, 从十几人到八十人规模的团队。使用我们服务的中国游客总数超过1000人。我们向大赛提交了一份过去几年一直在使用的行程。我们通常应中国客户的要求准备行程，其中大部分是含捷克共和国、匈牙利和波兰的。波兰行程平均3至5天。中国游客最常访问华沙 (和泽拉左瓦‧沃拉), 克拉科夫 (维耶利奇卡盐矿, 奥斯维辛集中营), 也经常去波兹南和弗罗茨瓦夫。当然，也有只访问波兰的团体，但这通常是在参加在我国举行的一些工业活动时进行的。”
2017年，中国游客在欧盟旅的游服务上的支出约为100亿欧元(数据来自欧盟统计局)。波兰体育与旅游部的数据显示，去年共有15.8万名中国公民访问波兰，其中13.6万人是来波兰旅游的。
“马可波罗旅游奖”将于2019年10月22日至24日在拉脱维亚里加举行的中国—中东欧国家旅游部长第五次会议上首次颁发。其他获奖者分别是来自黑山的Fly Montenegro旅行社和来自匈牙利的Long Teng旅行社。
Three best tourist products have been awarded
The Ministry of Sport and Tourism received official information from the China - 17th countries of CEE Tourism Coordination Center in Budapest, that by the decision of the international jury one of the winners of the Marco Polo competition is Polish travel agency CT Poland from Warsaw.
The 2018 Marco Polo Tourist Prize has been awarded to the three best tourist products representing local history, tradition and culture including stays of Chinese tourists in at least three of these countries.
The tourist product submitted to the competition by CT Poland is called "East European Concerto Tours". Tomasz Jeleń, the vice president of CT Poland, said:
"We serve each year several dozen Chinese groups, from dozen to even eighty people in size. In total, the number of Chinese tourists using CT Poland services exceeds one thousand. We have submitted a program for the competition that has been in use in previous years. We usually prepare tour programs at the request of Chinese contractors. Most of them are trips around the Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. The Polish part is on average 3-5 days long. Chinese tourists most often visit Warsaw (and Żelazowa Wola), Krakow (and Wieliczka, Auschwitz), but often also go to Poznań and Wrocław. Of course, there are as well groups visiting only Poland, but most often this is done on an occasion of participating in some industry event held in our country. "
In 2017, the Chinese spent about 10 billion euro on tourist services in the European Union (data from Eurostat). Poland was visited last year by a total of 158 000 Chinese citizens, among whom 136thousand came for tourism purposes as Polish Ministry of Sport in Tourism stated.
The Marco Polo Tourist Award will be presented for the first time during the 5th Meeting of the High Level of Ministers of Tourism of China and 17 countries of CEE, which will take place in Riga (Latvia) on October 22-24, 2019. The other winners are Fly Montenegro travel agency from Montenegro and Long Teng travel agency from Hungary.
