The most valuable monument in Blizne is wooden Church of All Saints from the middle of 15th century. Church was built in the Late Gothic style, of stromal construction, on a stone foundation. In 17th century was surrounded by defensive ramparts.
Wooden, Gothic All Saints’ Church in Blizno was built in the half 15th century. It is picturesquely located on a hill and encircled by ancient forest. The church is surrounded by wooden fence with several stone shrines. Its interior enchants the visitors with sumptuous ornaments on the walls and organ gallery. Folk decoration with plant and grotesque motifs add variety to the church interior decoration. In the side altar, a miraculous figure of St. Mary Full of Grace is placed, most probably sculptured by Wit Stwosz. In 2003, together with several other wooden churches from the region of Małopolska, All Saints’ Church in Blizno was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
