Architectural and Park Landscape Complex and Pilgrimage Park is located in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, and it is often referred to as the "Jerusalem Landscape". Its spatial plan is an accurate replica of 16th century Jerusalem.
The complex comprises 44 architectural objects, among others the Observants' monastery, the main church and the former Czartoryski Palace. The area is an exceptional combination of a piece of art, a monument and a worshipping site. Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is a place which combines the Passion and Marian cult. Capturing Jesus and the Stations of the Cross have been reproduced here, and the Mother of God Paths have also been marked out. In one of the basilica's chapels an extremely valuable painting of Our Lady of Calvary is located, which is believed to be a miraculous one. In 1999 the "Jerusalem Landscape" was listed by UNESCO as one of the World Heritage Sites.
