Benedictine abbey founded in the seventeenth century was surrounded by a fortified wall with towers.
A late Baroque Church of St. Trinity and the abbey was built in the eighteenth century. The abbey is the oldest monument of the left-bank part of the city.
The Church was destroyed during the war. Immediately after the war, the Benedictine sisters started the reconstruction of the Church and the abbey. The schools that were located there, have not been rebuilt.
