The Church of the St. Wawrzyniec was built in the most beautiful scenically point of the city - on the hill, now the cemetery. About 1550 Zagórni brothers, townspeople of Mława, founded on in this place a wooden Church dedicated to the patron of the city. In 1786, the priests - missionaries built a new brick Church on the site of the old wooden one. It was built on a rectangular plan, in the style of the indoor Church. On the sides of the choir there were built square porch and vestry, where is the barrel – cross vault. In this state, the Church brought up to modern times.
