Everyone should arrive in this place, because the water in the chapel in Krasnobrod has healing properties.
The Chapel on the Water conducts Avenue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also called chestnut alley, which is a monument of nature. Next to the avenue there are located chapels of St. Humphrey (built on the set of four-leaf clover), St. Anne and St. Anthony. Eighteenth-century chapel on the Water is located about 500m from the monastery, it is sometimes called “the Chapel of the Apparitions”, because at this point, in 1640, Our Lady appeared to James Ruszczykowi. There are basically two wooden chapels supported by concrete pillars, connected by a wooden deck and covered with the same roof, thus creating a kind of one facility.
Water under the chapel, in the opinion of the local population and the many pilgrims who come there, have medicinal properties. Next to the chapel there is a figure showing the apparition of the Virgin Mary to Jacob Ruszczyk and Rosary stations made of stone by the sculptor from Krasnobrod – Andrew Gontarz.
