Malnia village invites to visit beautiful monumental Church of Feast of The Cross.
Church is located on a small hill. It's a group of 2 objects, situated one on the other. Lower church was built in 1976- 1978, thanks to efforts of rector Franciszek Dusza from Otmęcie. From the highest hill there was taken limestone out and in the hole there was built a temple. The upper church is a wooden church of St. Francis, after-protestant, it was raised in Kostów next to Kluczbork in 1801-1804. After 1965 , it was left by the evangelical Community then , in 1977, it was decided to pull down the church, to relocate it and to reconstruct the church in Malnia. On the church's square, there is "Holy Mother of Fatima" grotto and bell tower of bricks with 3 bells. Just next to church, there are two chapels: first one - of All Saints, second one - devoted to Malnia's resident- blessed Father Joseph Cebula (1902-1941) who was a martyr of concentration camp in Mauthausen, exalted by the Pope John Paul II in 1999.
