In the first half of the 15th century, the local artists covered the walls of church with paintings of scenes of Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus Christ, Vir Dolorum, God the Father and Santa Conversazione. The third phase of paintings (vestibule and western wall) came into being in the second half of the 15th century, and the fourth one (sub-arch of rainbow) at the beginning of the 16th century. When in 1545 protestants took over the church, then the paintings were covered with stucco.
