Original parish Church was first mentioned in 1462. In the first quarter of the 18th century, the Church was extended.
From 1886 to 1888, the Church underwent complete transformation (the nave was extended westwards; new tower was erected, probably modelled on the previous one, a Church-porch was added to the south wall of the nave, roof was changed and steeples were added). In 1888, a new ornamental polychromy in the nave was painted by Michał Hornialkiewicz. Another renovation took place in 1908. The polychromy in the chancel was made by Sanok painter, Włodzimierz Lisowski in 1931.
