The ethnographic museum in Torun is one of the three biggest ethnographic museums in Poland.
Situated near the Old Town - it consists of: the Arsenal Building, the Ethnographic Parc and the Open-air Ethnographic Museum in Kaszczork. The collection assembled since the 1946 includes the entirety of folk culture (customs, ceremonies, furniture, domestic appliances, architecture) in the Northern Poland and the fishery of all country. There is also the richest collection of the sea and inland fishing tools. The museum includes one of the biggest in Poland collection of the modern folk and the craft. The museum and especially its Ethnographic Parc completely furnished and equiped homestead and cottages (the oldest comes from 1767) is located in the city centre itself.
