The most visited museum in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship.
The museum’s traditions date back to 1923. The main building of the museum is located in an old monastery of Kalryski nuns. The museum’s departments are located in the town’s various historical buildings. There is an exhibition entitled “Leon Wyczółkowski and modern artists” in the museum’s main building. The Art Department presents mostly Polish art. Visitors may admire paintings of L. Wyczółkowski, O. Boznańska, W. Kossak, J. Malczewski and J. Fałat.
