The Lublin Museum is one of the oldest and the biggets in the eastern Poland. It gathers various exhibits, prehistoric, archaeologic and modern (art and numismatic works).
The museum was estabished in 1957 and is located in the former Lublin Castle building. One can see there collection of archaeological works, handicraft, paintings, weapon and other. It also organizes many interesting exhibitions. Its most valuable exhibits is The Holy Trinity Chapel and its unique Byzantine-Russian paintings (1418).
