Due to the historical exhibition, there are presented monuments connected with history of Lands of Głubczyce since the prehistoric times until 1945(A.D.)also connected with Polish, German, Jews and Moravian who lived in the poviat.
The Museum came into being in 2001 based on collection of Izba Pamięci Narodowej Zespołu Szkół Rolniczych in Głubczyce and Museum of Lands of Głubczyce which is located in the same school since 2000. The Museum works based on statute approved by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. Currently there are available 2 expositions: historical and ethnographical one. Historical exposition: there are presented monuments connected with history of Land of Głubczyce since prehistoric times to 1945 and are also connected with Polish, German, Jews and Moravian people who lived there. There are worth seeing exhibits connected with: brewery of Głubczyce, the plebiscite period of Upper Silesia, I and II World War; especially: weapon, helmets, parts of soldier's equipment from various armies, documents, photos. Some exhibits come from ditches in premises of poviat of Głubczyce where in March and April 1945, there were heavy battles between German and Soviet armies. Ethnographical exposition: there are presented exhibits of daily use, clothes, farmhouse tools. Some of those exhibits were used by German farmers and some, after II World War, were brought by new Polish farmers from Kresy Wschodnie (Eastern Borders).
