The Museum is situated in an antique synagogue. It presents historical relics of Tykocin including monuments of Jewish culture which was developing here for over four hundred years.
In the Museum one can see permanent and temporary exhibitions presenting the history and culture of Tykocin, antique city in which various nations lived and developed into the following cultures: Polish, Ruthenian, Lituanian, Tartar and Jewish. Permanent exhibitions: -the Interior of the Great Synagogue, -Seder Pesach (paschal supper), -Rabbi’s Room, -Gloger’s Office, -Gallery of Painting by Zygmunt Bujnowski among souvenirs after provisors of pharmacy.
