Museum of Papermaking in Duszniki Zdrój deals with broader issues of papermaking. It collects, develops and provides collections on the history of papermaking, printing and history of Duszniki Zdrój.
It is also of interest for the fans of the art of papermaking. Moreover, the educational and research activity of the museum is quite famous. The rich collections and unique books on the history of papermaking, as well as the interests and achievements of employees are the source of many success stories.
The halls on the first floor of the main paper-mill building present the history of paper and paper industry in the world, in Poland and in Silesia during the period of handicraft production and the history of art and technology in the era of machine production. The main exposition is accompanied by topics strictly related to the history of papermaking, concerning writing materials used before the invention of paper, printing techniques and paper products. In the basement of the paper mill visitors may watch how paper used to be manufactured. It is one of the main attractions of the Duszniki museum.
