The museum is the only one of its kind in Poland. It has a huge amount of monuments from many polish Bernardine monasteries, especially from these, which were situated on the former west outskirts of Poland (Gwozdziec, Husiatyn, Krystynopol, Lwow, Sokal, Zaslaw, Zbaraz). The museum has collected more than 1500 exhibits, and shows them in 15 rooms. Sections included e.g. religious painting, portraits, religious sculpture, treasury, vestments and memory chamber.
