Built in England in 1935-37, the warship arrived in Gdynia in 1937 and was then the most advanced Polish destroyer. During WWII the Błyskawica operated in the North Sea, the Mediterranean, the English Channel, as well as the Bay of Biscay. Awarded the Polish Virtuti Military distinction.
A museum since 1976. You can see the ship's equipment and learn about the history and tradition of the Navy. A special attraction is the path through the inside od a steam boiler.
