In the collections of the Siedlce Regional Museum there are over 8000 objects from the fields of art, ethnography, history, archival photography and archaeology. In the art collection there are mainly paintings and graphics of the XIX and XX centuries. There is the greatest in Poland historical collection that includes pieces of German ballistic V-2 rockets and a wide range of glass negatives from the Adolf Ganiewski's (Gancwol's) photographic studio which date back to the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. There are also many other precious objects connected with the history of Siedlce and its region. Archeological collections come from excavations that took place at the former Siedlce Province area mainly in the 80s of the XX century. Ethnographic collections concern the folk culture of eastern Mazowsze, southern Podlasie and northern Lubelszczyzna. It's a variety of fabrics, sculptures, cutouts, household equipment and agricultural tools. The museum library has a great book collection of nearly 5000 volumes that come from many fields such as: art, history, ethnography, archeology or nature. There are also catalogues of collections and exhibitions as well as dictionaries, encyclopedias, brochures, lexicons, guidebooks.
