The museum was founded on the initiative of folk artist Julian Brzozowski. The creator amassed over 400 moving folk sculptures, raised with a special mechanism.
Figures depict scenes from the life of the Łowicz village, and were made by Brzozowski and other family members. You can also see old clothes, boxes, cupboards, spiders and Łowickie cutouts and a collection of 35 horse Rider from the Łowicz area - cabriolets, old carriages, sleighs and peasant wagons: hayrack, the crypt, “półkoszka” and “Wasąg”, also horse harnesses, old machinery and agriculture equipment.
