The complex of two synagogues is a valuable memento of the Jewish community living in the former Kraśnik
To the south-east of the market (on the opposite side of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary), there is a synagogue complex preserved. Both synagogues were badly damaged during the Nazi occupation and later for many years served as a warehouse and fell into disrepair. Bigger, Baroque synagogue, inside of which there are fragments of precious polychrome, was built in the seventeenth century, and the second, smaller, called “przyszkółek”, probably comes from the second half of the nineteenth century.
