Town hall in Paczków was built in the mid-16th century, but was rebuilt several times.
Only the tower retained the original Renessaince style; the tower was completed probably in 1552. It is one of the best preserved Renaissance towers in Silesia, and is an excellent vantage point that offers a panoramic view of the entire city. Inside the tower there is a historic clock mechanism made in 1858 by Carl Weiss, the acclaimed watchmaker of Głogów. The current building dates from the first half of the 19th century and according to tradition is the seat of local government. Inside the building there is a beautiful, historic meeting room of the town council.
