Trans-Wielkopolska Trail – southern part
While the northern part of Trans-Wielkopolska Cycling Trail (TTR-N) is rich in forests and lakes, its southern part (TTR-S) is quite different- it abounds in open fields, historical and cultural monuments. Cyclers will have a chance to ride through the highest hills in Wielkopolska.
Easy trail, mostly paved roads; some more difficult sandy parts between Tursk and Gołuchów and Antonin and Ostrzeszów. Demanding uphill parts around Żerków, Bałczyna and Kobyla Góra.
Along its whole distance, the trail is marked as green-level trail according to the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Association standards. The trail begins in Poznań, at west bank of Malta Lake, at the crossroads of John Paul II and Abpa Baraniaka Streets.
