The exhibition located in the original 19th century basement of the Town Hall Annex combines, in a modern way, traditional museum exhibits and multimedia presentations. An interesting feature of the underground complex is mysterious well which only has water when there is water in the pond in the park. The exhibition uses eight forms of presentation that include notice boards, for which iconographic materials have been developed, multimedia Informational displays, reconstructions of interiors based on discovered and preserved architectural relics and museum exhibits. The exhibition presents the history of the Town Hall in Zamosc from the 16th century to the present day including the archaeological work carried out around it in the 20th and at the beginning of the 21st century. As a result, several historical features were discovered including a water tank, from the mid 17th century along with its original inlet channel and a well from the 19th century, which is located inside the old prison facility in the current Town Hall Annex.
